MECHANICS:

1. The art contest is open to all currently enrolled Ateneo de Naga Junior High School students. A student is entitled to only one entry.
2. The entry should be based on the theme SAN IGNACIO SA BIKOL: St. Ignatius’ Influence and Contribution to Ateneo de Naga and the Bicol Culture for the Past 81 Years.
3. The art entries shall be executed in LANDSCAPE orientation and may be completed, either or combination of both:
   • TRADITIONALLY/PHYSICALLY using art media such as oil paint, oil pastel, watercolor, acrylic paint or poster color; and materials such as A4 size (210 x 297mm or 8.3 x 11.7 inches) illustration board, bond paper, rice paper, or oslo paper; or bigger size but of similar dimension or aspect ratio. (A picture or digital copy of the traditionally rendered artwork may be submitted but participant should be ready to submit the physical artwork any time it may be requested by the organizers.) 
   • DIGITALLY using softwares such as Correl Paint, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or Indesign Microsoft Paint, Paint Tool Sai, Medibang Paint, Affinity Designer , Inkscape, Procreate, Autodesk Sketchbook, ArtRage ; and rendered in A4 size (210 x 297mm or 8.3 x 11.7 inches) JPEG, TIFF, or PNG image at 300dpi resolution.   
4. The entry should NOT contain any text or identifiable words associated with the artist.
5. Twelve finalists shall be selected from all the submitted entries; the finalists shall be featured in the 2022 tabletop calendar to be produced by the AdNU JHS; from among the 12 finalists, Top 3 grand prize shall also be given. The decision of the judges SHALL BE FINAL.
   Prizes:
   • First Prize: P3,000 
   • Second Prize: P2,000 
   • Third Prize: P1,500
   • Consolation Prizes: P800
6. Traditionally completed artworks may be submitted physically with the entry form at the JHS Principal’s Office or online as an attachment accompanied by the accomplished entry form to jhs_apfsa@gbox.adnu.edu.ph .
7. All entries shall become property of the Ateneo de Naga Junior High School.
8. Deadline of the submission of entries:
   • PHYSICAL SUBMISSION: 30 September 2021 
   • ONLINE SUBMISSION: 30 September 2021, 12 MN
