This course will guide Ateneans in deepening their understanding and appreciation of the Atenean identity and Ignatian spirituality. Through an exploration of the life and teachings of St. Ignatius of Loyola and his companions, students will analyze the historical context and purpose of the Acts of the Apostles, identify key events and figures in the early Church, compare heretical beliefs with Catholic teachings, and evaluate contemporary issues in light of the Church’s mission. This course will also encourage students to reflect on their personal calling from God.
