THE GOLDEN KNIGHT

This is the symbol of a school that sallies forth into the thickness of the fight and knows not fear because it fights for what is Right and Good.

The KNIGHT is spotless in character and lofty in ideals, implacable in the fight against falsehood. Fiery and unrelenting in the battle against evil, he is a fighter, a noble fighter.

And so he was chosen- to stand nobly by the shield of the Ateneo, to bear in his strong hand the standard of the Queen of Heaven, to be the shining symbol of all things true, generous and brave.

And so he was chosen – and he lives, not in body, but in spirit, in the Ateneo Spirit… in the heart of every true Atenean.
